In welcoming the sacredness of Nyepi Day, the Pecatu Traditional Village proudly presents 'Dresta Lango Pecatu Caka Year 1948'. This showcase is conceived as a tangible manifestation of our commitment to nurturing and preserving the noble values that define the Balinese identity, particularly within the Pecatu Traditional Village.
The transition of the Caka New Year serves as the perfect momentum for Mulat Sarira (self-introspection) and achieving inner harmony. Through Dresta Lango Pecatu, we strive to reignite the spirit of Menyama Braya (brotherhood) and Gotong Royong (mutual cooperation). We open our doors to both the local community and international tourists to immerse themselves in the authenticity of Balinese traditions through the exhibition of Ogoh-ogoh sculptures and fragmentary dance performances from every traditional ward (Banjar Adat) across Pecatu.
More than just an art performance, this agenda is a form of Bhakti (devotion) to our ancestors and a token of gratitude to the universe. By blending cultural aesthetics with environmental consciousness, we hope this event leaves an inspiring mark on everyone in attendance. We invite all elements of society to synergize and provide their full support. Let us work together to ensure the success of this event as a concrete step in inheriting the richness of our civilization for future generations.
